finally! damn!

now we just need apps that support it, especially a good controller app like touch osc.

the demos so far seem to be mostly using it to play those dinky iOS music apps, but imo it's far more interesting to go the other way: use the iPad to control external gear.

i think it already does that, it goes both ways. right??? it sends through usb to the iConect and from iConect with midi cables to whatever external midi hardware you want to control.

i know it's 2 way communication. my point is that we need some apps that will support that now (sending midi data out of the iPad).

oh, you mean an app for the iphone or ipad??? ok then...

i'm waiting patiently for touch osc to support midi, but i guess that would screw up their name right? osc is such a pain in the ass.

miditouch app is gay.
