Can anyone recomend a mouse?

Recommended Posts

As well as your genuine contributions, any pictures of fluffy marsupials are more than welcome.

I'm not a gamer so I don't need one with a zillion buttons. The Logitech MX looks pretty good, they have a laser sensor, range of up to 30 feet. Fuck knows why. It is pretty ugly though, I'd feel like a bit of a wanker with that on my desk.

logitech G9 Laser or its newer equivalent. Yes, it's a gamer mouse, but it's one of the best computer products I've purchased. non of this silly lightweight, battery-wasting bs. it's corded, weight-customizable has back/forward buttons and tracking speed buttons as part of the package for the thumb or left click.

it's so great I own two.

Logitech MX510, 518, G5, or G9. I have two MX510's. Damn good mouse.

Since you're not a gamer, I recommend you check out a Kensington SlimBlade trackball mouse. I love trackballs (so gay), and if I wasn't such a game addicted nerd I'd switch to one immediately.

razer mice feel great, a friend still has mine damnit.

gaming mice are the way to go even if you're not a gamer.. buttons to program,

usually they're very comfortable, and they are very high dpi and precise

which works good if you're a photoshopper or professional internet user.

^ best mouse I've owned and pretty cheap too.

I had one of those MX Revolutions. Pretty heavy with all the wireless innards, but that felt good. Got to be a pain charging it all the time and I could see the battery capacity lowering over time. Being Logitech I probably could have complained and received a new one for free.

Yegg.

Well so far i'm going with the Logitech G9. It looks the most functional out of all of them and the weight tuning/large grip will be great for a fat hand twat like me. That Kensington trackball is a no go, balls are for children. I am a professional internet user. The Razer looks like I'm touching a Na'vi. Fuck that. That Madcatz RAT looks like someone started designing it and never stopped.

Any others?

yeah wtf..

lets recover this shit with some nice mice.

i had a deatheradder and LOVED it..

unlike some razer mice it fit my hand perfectly.

i'd also like to add that unlike the previously suggested Razer mice,

it's a relatively simple mouse with few extra buttons.

very sleek, very comfortable, very precise (high DPI), and easy to use.
