It's as good as guaranteed that a news story about some newly discovered animal will have comments about evolution vs. creationism. Same with youtubes of classical music, they will always have some dumb shit about god/religion in the comments.

I've heard of this before, it's been around for a lot longer than that. Here is a paper from 1996:
