grande = large

venti = twenty

trenta = thirty

i don't really understand why they named their drinks after numbers though?

the names correspond to the number of oz of coffee.

I don't care about this in any way but I've already read about it 3 times today. It's for drinks with lots of ice in them. Don't buy it if you don't want it.

I just enjoyed 8 oz of home-brewed organic ancient tree loose leaf green tea from yunnan, motherfucker. crisp and fresh with notes of toasted chestnut and wild orchid all up in this bitch.

I just looked it up, and venti and trenta are italian for 20 and 30, respectively.
