i have the following:

polygon window - surfing on sine waves

selected ambient works vol II

...i care because you do

richard d james album

drukqs

26 mixes for cash

analords vol 1, 2, 7, 8

2 remixes by afx

the tuss - rushup edge (shutupidontcareifitshimornot)

what are the crucial releases that i'm missing? analord or no... i'm well familiar with windowlicker and come to daddy ep's, the rest not so much. i think i remember the on ep being pretty worthy?

help me watmm, you're my only hope! :braindance:

edit: just realized my collection is not properly "described" here; i would in fact say it is "incomplete".

The Tuss is definitely him.

Definitely get ALL of the releases everyone mentioned or continues to mention. They are all amazing. You really cant go wrong with any of them, especially the Analords, SAW#1 and On. The guy really doesn't put out bad music, imo.

I know a lot of folks are polarized on it, but I recommend picking up the 12 track version of Ventolin.

There is some amazing stuff on it.

yeah is Analogue Bubblebath really held in such high regard or what? Seems kind of like a bunch of bullshit tracks with some good songs/ideas that he realized better on a track from some later album anyway

You must be a youngster to have that opinion.

I got Analogue Bubblebath in 94 shortly after finding out who Aphex Twin was. Back then, there was still nothing quite like it out there.

Anyone who thinks otherwise clearly either doesn't have a good frame of reference or just lacks musical taste in general.

came here to say this

Two huge remixes which i've heavily listened :

  •
  • Soft Ballet - Sand Lowe (The Polygon Window remix)
  • Gavin bryars - raising the titanic (big drum mix)

Pure Aphex talent, lot of feelings inside.

ehrm, so your excuse to not just buy every release, besides the lack of money, is.....? what?

let's be completely systematic here: buy everything. and if you're really anal about it, do it in chronological order. don't go alphabetic. new releases could fuck up your plan. not good.
