'Live' improv. ambient + spoken word.

So. First off, it's not really all that 'live'... I got together with my mate last night who recently bought some DJ equipment which included a mixer with inbuilt kaoss pad, INSANELY fun to play with. We had a full-on amateur jam, and ended up with the idea of plugging in a microphone to the kaoss pad and do some improvisational ambient spoken word stuff.

 

Voice: my mate, with a microphone hooked up to his kaoss pad. A damn shame you can hardly hear him properly.

Sounds: me, with Ableton Live, a bunch of synths and a looper.

'Livet' means life and 'Efter livet' means after life.

 

 

It's mainly a fun little way to test out our combined possibilities with the equipment.
