The new Decemberists is here. More or less a country album, with Peter Buck and Gillian Welch guesting on guitars and backing vocals respectively.

Stripped down- no sea shanties, no lovelorn blokes from the 1800's, no whales, no 15 minute epics, just 40mins of beautiful folk/indiepop/alt-country gems.

was a big fan up until the crane wife. (did they change or did my taste?) doubt i'll get this.
