My first impression was quite positive, a forum dedicated to posting hateful messages - fantastic. Even more fantastic is the section 'In the Workplace'. But it was all crushed when there was no dedicated subforum to customers at the workplace.

as soon as i saw 'religion', atheists were the first thing i thought of. what a hostile bunch of people, seems like they gotta jump all over you and be assholes if you mention god. you could say something as innocent as "god bless you" to one and they'd be like "thanks, even though there isn't one." just shit like that. faiths can breed some real pricks

i'm kinda flattered.

i've gotten to the point where i don't hate anyone, not even the most reprehensible people, and instead just get deeply saddened about the state of affairs in the culture or in their family or whatever that made them, and then i'm saddened further by people's irrational, insensitive, and uninformed reactions to those people, and then i realize that they can't help it either, and i'm saddened by the helpless ignorance and impotence of everyone to know or do anything about anything sad that happens in the world. and then i realize that the universe is pointless so it doesn't really matter and i go back to wanking and drinking booze to pass the time, because passing time in comfort is all that any living thing really wants to do, and us humans have some pretty tragic ways of passing time, and despite all of the apparent variety, most of these ways of passing time are simply the paths of least resistance through each person's unique, mountainous insecurities.

The futility of life really just makes me think that I have complete freedom to do whatever I want. It's not as bleak as it may seem. Nothing matters, so you might as well enjoy yourself while you're here.

apparently Calx Sherbet was trying to put a clever spin on things, saying that atheists are just as bad as people who are religious. a misfire to say the least

I've heard this little anecdote a few dozen times from a few dozen people, and I know a good plenty atheists online and offline.

None of them are like that. I would challenge you to find an atheist above the age of 15 which acts in this way.
