Lord of the Flies

So, I got both the 1963 and the 1990 version of this movie. Both have good ratings on IMDB, so I need you film nerds of watmm to tell me which one to watch. Like...plz

rip them to your computer, watch them both at the same time.

In the '90 version, the kids are from a military academy of some sort - which pretty much misses the entire point of the book - namely that anyone from any background will turn feral in the right circumstances.

Watching kids who have have a common background of learning how to kill people get violent isn't exactly shocking.

The 63 version is very faithful to the book.
