Sunshine Recorder noises

I know that Geogaddi has been dissected billions of times, but there's still one thing bothering me. At about 3:27 into Sunshine Recorder, we hear the robotic woman voice saying 'a beautiful place...' but afterwards, there's this weird buzz noise that could easily be a man's voice or maybe just some studio background noise.

 

Anybody else hear this, and if so, know what the fuck it is?

I don't think I've ever conciously noticed that before, I'll have to give it a listen. While we're on the subject, there's a whispering female voice in the song julia and candy that comes in at around the 4 minute mark and is repeated a few more times until the songs end, it sounds like it's saying "keep going keep going", anyone else hear this?

It's weird that i'm still finding new things in this album considering it's over 4 years old now...

 

I too hear the whispering as well in Julie and Candy, although I haven't seen anything written about it.

uhmm what about all the voices in DAwn Chorus!! theres tons of them in there in that track but no one seems to talk about those either..

my query still bothers me though...even bothered reversing Sunshine Recorder and I still dont know what the fuck I'm hearing :shade:

Sunshine Recorder is one of the best Geogaddi's tracks. :laughing:

Sunshine Recorder is a beautiful track. There are a few whispers in the background after the kid says "beautiful place...", but I doubt they're meant to be clearly understood, or are even intentional. I accidentally do this sort of thing all of the time, using samples that have a bit of a voice in the background.

 

I didn't notice the little chime sounds in the left channel at 4:52 before listening just now, though. Always find something new with this one...an audio masterpiece.

Can you give a more specific time index?

 

Always sounds like it's saying "six six six" to me, slightly panned to the right, but I've stopped worrying about it. This song's my favorite musical moment of all time...going to stop dissecting it.

By the way, Sunshine Recorder is the sixth track. So it can explain why you hear sixsixsix...

at approx 4`03, 4`29, and 4`52. That six six six voice is something completely different

 

and yes, it's very nice, people seem more amiable when presented with erotic material

nah that's alright, those times aren't really exact so just listen hard in their general vicinity
