Guest hahathhat
remembering ipv6 addresses is going to piss me the fuck off! good thing most of the ones i must remember are 192.168.*.* etc. and those don't have to go 6. Ego Posted February 4, 2011 Report Share Edit Hide Delete Posted February 4, 2011 (edited) I've been trying to figure out what side effects I'd actually notice if the transition takes too long. I'm not concerned about IPv6 connectivity since there are tunnel brokers and I have a proxy with IPv6 support. But let's say my ISP decides to put me behind a large NAT in a few years, I'm guessing that would cause problems with inbound connections? (i.e. no torrenting or home servers over IPv4?) kaini
the tunnelling/4to6 thing is a horribly clumsy workaround i wish ISPs would just bite the bullet and do the switch Thanks Haha Confused Sad Facepalm Burger Farnsworth Big Brain Like × Quote Hide kaini's signature Hide all signatures On 5/7/2013 at 11:06 PM, ambermonk said: I know IDM can be extreme On 6/3/2017 at 11:50 PM, ladalaika said: this sounds like an airplane landing on a minefield Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/63532-ipv4-is-officially-used-up/#findComment-1509345 Share on other sites
