I was skeptical - as someone else said, why not just eat some yogurt? (I've had giardiasis and other nasty gut illnesses, taken multiple courses of flagyl which is like nuking your gut, but after some yogurt and some time passing things seemed to go back to normal) - but this part of the article blew me away:
