Like many other artists i deeply love, this man seems to have vanished from the music scene. But i am glad he left a rich, wonderful and unique sound, and quite a consistent body of work:

Too bad the album "Tones" never got to be released, it must have been amazing!

I got my hands on whole Beaumont discography some time ago... Both versions of Texturology and Tastes ant Textures are very cool.

He is also in the groups Husikesque and Outcast, making great music as well!

It's funny how this guy is basically one of the roots of "IDM" and no one here cares heheh.;)

Indeed. That's why i came up with such thread, and also because i wanted to share these wonderful tunes.

I wonder if we will get to have any more BH in the future, but i don't have any hope at all.

He worked on a collab back in 2006 though, as discogs has stated.

I've picked up a couple of those GPR ones used. Have to give em another spin. Seem to remember they were quality.

GPR has legendary status for me.

They have brought unique sounds to the light of day like Beaumont Hannant, Andy Pickford, The Black Dog's Temple of Transparent Balls, Luke Slater's 7th Plain or Hi-Ryze.

One of the top labels that ever existed.

ive tried getting this guys stuff for years off soulseek but to no avail....thats probably why you dont hear that much about him.

perfect flac rips and all. soulseek must have tons of stuff as well.

maybe you are not searching appropriately.

His latest release was actually a collab and back in 2006, so i guess the man is definitely out of the scene

wow...finally got some tracks...and this is beautiful....its like a perfection of AFX 93-94 era rhythms with soothing ambience.

i like this....are there similar artists? anywhere i can buy his work? (other than art int. comps)

Nice to hear that you like it.

It is quite a unique sound, so naming similar artists might be difficult, but if you get his whole discography (YO3 included) you will have quite a few hours of sonic pleasure.
