does nitzer ebb count or is that industrial? i always thought their songs would be really good in hardcore punk form.

Couldn't believe High Pressure Days was from 1980 when I first heard it a few years ago...I got into them through this track I found on some random blog (contains no synthpunk) -

They only did one LP, costs a bit off of Discogs though...they did reissue High Pressure Days on a 12" in 2009, that you can find for buttons...which is nice.

Not sure if it counts as "synth" but definitely does for "punk". I suppose they did use drum machines and I don't think there has ever been a guitar sound like it.
