halisray
I enjoy sketching on paper and I recently got Photoshop and some other software. I'm wondering, is it easy to adapt to drawing with a mouse? I'm trying it out now and it is kind of weird... also anyone know of any good tutorials? ty Thanks Haha Confused Sad Facepalm Burger Farnsworth Big Brain Like × Quote Hide halisray's signature Hide all signatures https://soundcloud.com/halisray Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/63727-sketching-on-a-laptop/ Share on other sites

If you want to draw on the computer tablets are the only way to go. You can get a decently sized one (bigger is better) for less than $100. For fancy (and sometimes necessary) features like pen angle & rotation or higher ranges of sensitivity youll pay extra. You can see where you are on the screen without touching the surface with your pen. I have one of those Wacom Graphire's lying around. (I think they rebranded that to "Bamboo") It should be a good first model, and it'll do for sketching. Later on you might want to grab an Intuos.
