Is any of his other stuff like Numbers Lucent?

Recommended Posts

I just heard this for the first time yesterday and it was ZOMGAWESOME. I didn't realize he had music like this. I've only heard Hard Normal Daddy besides this one and I like it but not as much, so I was wondering if there was anything else in his discog with that crazy sound

agreed. also, you should check out his warp 20 live set on youtube or elsewhere. they have a few songs in there that are somewhat in the NL style.

Another question since I dont think I should make another thread. Does he have any other songs that sound like Rebus? (atmospheric with awesome loud bass, this song is better than dubstep)

Well, "Plaistow Flex Out" off Go Plastic is the first that comes to mind. Both tracks share the same feeling (at least to me) but they still way different from each other.

By the way, if you like Squarepusher gettin' dub, you might give a listen to the Budakhan Mindphone mini-LP. Dunno if it'll satisfy you as much as Rebus does but you'll certainly enjoy !

iambic 5 poetry ftw

Since i do not think that Pusher has much directly like Numbers Lucent, can anybody point to other artists who are doing the post-modern rave thing? I'm thinking along the lines of Zomby's Where Were U In '92 as well, that sort of thing.

take Hello Everything, it's out the same year

Eh, either I am living in some distorted reality or that's totally incorrect (the released same year thing, if that's what you meant).

probably Selection Sixteen or Hello Everything. they're not as ravey, but pretty amazing both of them.

Got both of these now and they are blowing my mind. Hello Everything is incredible.
