Loops

is there a place online that have a massive amount of loops? I'm a beginner, hence using other loops and not my own :D

Sorry I don't have a direct links but a google search should see you right, or perhaps someone here can help. Grab the declassified breaks vol. 1 and 2, there's also a pack of classic drum machines about. Quite sure they came from The Grid on DOA. The folders I have, so I'm guessing the zips I downloaded were called the same, are "declass breaks," "declassified-breakspack-vol2" and "Vintage Drum Samples 24bit" - That's actually all I have as far as downloaded samples. I'd suggest not downloading much more than that right now 'cause you'll get bogged down. There's plenty in those packs to examine, chop and make your own phat beatz.

thanks! and where do I put the files to use with Ableton?

Just organise them on your computer nicely (good habits!), then navigate to the folder with live's file browser - see the column of icons on the top left? The drag drop them onto a track, or into sampler or whatever you want.
