If you are a fan of Boards of Canada and want to meet other fans, sign in/sign up for Meetup, click Account in the upper right corner, and type Boards of Canada into the topic search field and add it as one of your topics.

Make sure to click save at the bottom of the page.

As more people discover and express interests in the group in your area, the desire for one of them to host a meet will grow. When someone in your area decides to host a BoC meetup, you will be notified. This person could be you. But you may want to wait for a decent amount of people to show interest sine there is a fee to announce and host a meetup on the site. This idea sparked from this thread Twoism.org about self hosted Redmoon nights and the general interest people express meeting other BoCers.

You can see the status of worldwide interest in BoC meetups here. Adding BoC as a topic to your profile will help spur the worldwide movement to have BoC meetups.

i find the idea of a group of people meeting soley based on the fact that they are boc fans reminiscint of a creepy NAMBLA reject meetup in some dudes dingy basement.
