Sick! I'm hoping its more than a track from each. I also hope this means that Clark's new album is on the way!

From the Clark facebook: "yep - there's a new track coming out on a limited warp purple bag split 12" for Record Store Day- other track is a monster Bibio tune."

So it looks like it will just be a track from each... oh well, I can't wait to grab this.

Sounds like fun, the last few releases I can think of that got the purple sleeve treatment were great - Dirty Pixie & Venus No. 17! Here's hoping for some more future classics...

First real tune from Clark for a while in my opinion!

It's kind of nice. I'm not really very impressed. But it's a great track nonetheless. I'm just afraid he's loosing his signature.

Sounds a bit dubsteppy, no? Not bad but it does lack the uniqueness I like him for. If I heard this randomly somewhere I wouldn't think "oh that's awesome" or "oh that sounds like Clark." Certain parts perhaps. Or wait a minute...does the Clark track start around 1:06 perhaps, not 1:03? That would make a lot more sense...sounds a lot more Clarky and less dubsteppy. Yes now this is Clark. So that vocal sample about child producers...not Clark. Ah ok I get it now...that was the end of the track that actually sounds like him. Weird.

Anyway, I'll likely pick this up tomorrow if I see it. Even though I don't have a record player.

Yeah I got a copy, but not at the record shop where I queued up. I had to goto the other shop in town, and they had about 4 left.

I just picked one up. One store didn't have it, the other had 1. I didn't ask either one how many they originally had.

somehow i really like baskerville grinch. it's way to monotone and to melody-flat to match up Clark expectations, but somehow... i really like it.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking as well. Maybe it's also meant like: Com'on,if you take it seriously you don't sit in front of myspace looking at your play count, but produce the hell the whole day long...
