RM-Sounds: 2 New Video Tutorials

Recommended Posts

Guest ryanmcallister

hey guys, i just created two more videos for my site that explain ableton's stretch notes function and how it can be used for polyrhythms in part 1 and reversed melodies in part 2. check them out and let me know what you think. i'm also looking for feedback on the formatting of these videos (video quality, content, whether i spend too much time talking, length, etc.). thanks!

I like your tutorials a lot. The topics they cover are generally helpful and your delivery is concise, not full of long pauses, and well prepared.

Keep up the good work.

By the way. I don't suppose you know of a way to draw tuplets in Logic, do you? I'm constantly locked in battle with the piano roll in Logic. The only way to consistently draw them involves using the notation feature, which is too obtuse for swift use.

no sorry i'm not sure how to do this in logic, beyond maybe just turning the grid off and eyeballing it. i'm not saying you can't, i just am not too familiar with logic. thanks for the kind words though!
