in what context did they mention it. I know its from bbc 6music right? Where can i hear this?

i believe the source is "6 music," (reference at http://twitoaster.com/country-gb/helenium/wow-leo-sayer-is-aphex-twins-uncle-really/) which i'm guessing refers to bbc radio 6.

oh didn't see that someone had already posted about radio 6. i don't know if there's a way to hear when it was mentioned, unless someone recorded it?

well seen multiple twitters about it so the prob said somethiing unless this is just one big conspiracy I also found an old post from 2007 where some guy said "hey doesn't leo sayer look just like one of those creepy kids with his hoody on in that come to daddy video?"
