i just listened to showroom dummies for the first time like an hour ago and man , that was really good/

March to The Stars was a hell of a trip

I haven't listened to all of his stuff, but Wave Funk is my favorite right now. Gorf Man is too good.

Also, Ionospheric Exploration continues to be one of those albums/eps that I think I don't listen to much, but I actually listen to often. I think it's something about the title.

Wave Funk, Bass Drop EP, & Nu Romantix for sure. I enjoy anything he puts out though really.

i have a hard time getting into his music

while technically correct it lacks innovation and emotion to my ears/heart

it sounds like a lot of the music that was "popular" and local to me as a nyc-er in the 80s

great so he can program analog electro/hip-hop /acid etc really well

a lot of what he does sounds like music on hold/backround/library for a porno from 1986

and or a miami vice episode

its cute for 10 minutes,then want to ear something with balls and intensity

I loathe his remakes of classic tracks and "homages", they all sound fucking god awfull to the highest degree.

SH101 triggers MS10 is my favorite by far, also March to the Stars on Legowank's label, really epic stuff, even if most tracks are a bit short. I think Ed should be in a duo or group, he can't make it on his own 60% of the time, his stuff with Cylob was so good, some of his sets are really good too. Overall I would say he's very hit or miss, can't stand the homage works and the new electro/analord sounding EP's were the best thing he made and he can't sing for shit, not even with a vocoder.

I'm finally giving march to the stars a proper listen, and I'm quite enjoying it. Not quite sure why I ignored it before.

I'm sure Ed himself isn't proud of Knight Ryder and the other derivative works, I consider him to be on top of his game now-a-days.
