LOS ANGELES, CA – March 8, 2011 - Southern California resident Will Rosario’s Asymmetrical Head’s Forward Lateral EP is the third release on the newly minted Architects + Heroes imprint based in Los Angeles, CA. This release is designed to be a companion to the forthcoming The Treehouse Symposium full-length due late March. The tracks, four distinct iterations of a single musical concept, are divided evenly between the contemplative and the corporeal, and display the artistic leanings of close colleagues and Rosario’s alter-ego Quiliuq. For album news, features, interviews, and podcasts from the A+H stable, visit us on the web at www.architectectsandheroes.net.

There were different iterations of the track Forward Lateral made. The original appears on the forth coming album The Treehouse Symposium. Three of these mixes were different mixes and one is a remix by Lucid Rhythms.

Digital Download available on bandcamp. You can either donate or download for free (for a limited time. after a couple of weeks it'll be priced at $4). The download also comes with artwork, credit info, and a press sheet.

Congrats on the release.

See you are interested in divination, looking at the i ching inspired artwork. Is there any meaning to the characters that you can share?

I'm glad you asked. For the past 20 some years, I've been really intrigued and inspired by eastern religions. And me being a graphic designer and minimal design being my aesthetic, I've always loved the simplicity of the I Ching symbols and their meanings. In the past year while designing the art and producing the music, the whole project has taken more meaning since a lot was going on in my life personally. I'm taking on a new chapter in my life with career, family, spiritually, and health. The album that is to follow this EP has the symbol on the cover of Qian, which is the meaning for beginning. In today's society there are new beginnings being embarked upon as it has been actually for thousands of years. but it seems like it has been more apparent now with changes in industry, technology, climate, nature, etc. And people are trying to keep up with these changes and forgetting about one important thing... Themselves. And quite honestly. As changes happen in my life, the album and art start to change meaning as my life changes.

Hope that makes sense! :)

thanks for downloading/purchasing and listening guys! The Treehouse Symposium is up next within a months time.
