You know, i don't think there is such a thing as absolute truth. Something is considered to be scientifically true once the scientific community agrees it is (eg, scientific racism and i'm shocked when i stumble upon studies that relate race to some factor). Thus I'd say science is mainly a social construct. It's a lot like a lawsuit, and i think witnesses do matter.
