This sums up my Winter 2011 in a way. I started out with a rather large selction of songs, but ended up with a short and sweet collection of some of the best, and the ones that fitted the mix and mood best. Tussmørke is the Norwegian word for the part of the day just after the sun goes down, or just before it comes up. Seemed perfect to both the mood of the mix and the time it was recorded. Enjoy! I liked it. The name Tussmørke is very fitting to the general mood, but it wasn't wintery at all for me. More like a late summer evening. It reminds me of an exact atmosphere from summer 2008, my cousin was over for weeks and we'd throw some different kind of meat on the grill every evening, we'd eat sitting at the weathered old plastic table in the garden, the sun was long gone but there was still some light until about 11 pm. Eventually we'd realize "man it does still get quite chilly at night doesn't it" so we went into the house in order to get some jacket or pullover to wear over the t-shirt, but then we'd end up playing Doom 3 and not going back out until the stupid birds came back at 3:15 am. We'd then get angry at the birds and try to fall asleep quickly so we wouldn't have to hear them. Your whole mix fits in with the exact mood of the moment we went indoors to fetch our jackets. Sounds odd but that's what it made me think off the entire time.

The tracks Finity and Oirectine by BoC are also very Tussmørke btw.

Yeah, it's not as wintery as I first thought when I made it, and all for the better as spring is finally making it's entrance. Glad you enjoyed it, and music sparks different memories for all of us. ;)
