if i may recommend a (vaguely) similar talk on a different scale, this was interesting:

Bernie Kraus is one of my idols, his book is great too, reminds me a lot of this lecture. He (under Beaver & Krause, not the Comtruise coatail riders Keaver and Brause) is also responsible for the album 'the Nonesuch Guide to Electronic Music' which my new album on acroplane is a parody
