Favorite short opener

Of all the officially released BoC albums, the three "big ones" are Music has The Right To Children, Geogaddi and The Campfire Headphase. All of these share an opening track, somewhat ambient, usually no drums or percussion, and roughly around a minute long.

Which one would be your favorite? Wildlife Analysis from MHTRTC, Ready Lets Go from Geogaddi, or Into The Rainbow Vein from TCH?

I'd go with Into The Rainbow Vein, followed by wildlife, then ready lets go. I like ready lets go a lot, still, but Into The Rainbow Vein just paints a much nicer picture in my head. Can't really put it into words, exactly.

For me it's a tie between Ready Let's Go and Wildlife Analysis. WA is very floaty and mysterious, but RLG sounds like it's slowly dissolving everything in the room it's being played in. It's especially cool if you play it loud with a nice pair of headphones on because it sort of massages your ears. I think I'm going to go with WA, though.

I like the continuity they have going with the openers, it'll be interesting to hear how the forthcoming album starts.

Wildlife Analysis for sure. What an opener.

I also associate it with eyeing up hot chicks due to the title, which makes it that much better.

ready lets go yeaaaaaaaaaaaaap

little bits of melody stab in at the moments where you think it's all lost. pretty awesome and absolutely defines geogaddi's sound.
