Old 'scoopy' sounding rimshot on a yamaha keyboard

There was a keyboard at my grandparents house during the late 90s. one of those cheap yamaha ones with the stand. it had a sort of shortened splash cymbal sound in the place of the rimshot (usually c#1). I think an example of it is right here:

Its dfinitely right in there. Whats the deal? could someone hook me up with that sound?
