New Kouhei

Apparently a solo album from Kouhei is on the way, due May 2nd. I was kind of disappointed with the last one, but I think that taking Sensational out of the picture might substantially improve things.

that explains why Kouhei changed his moniker 3 times before he decided on one for Drinking the Goat's Blood. First it was NHKyx , then NHK bs, then eventually just Koyxen. All of it good stuff

Im pretty sure theyre all different projects. NHK is more dance beat orientated, while anything under Koyxen is experimental with beats too. Then he does more ambient stuff under his real name, Kouhei Matsunaga.

as far as i can tell that's not really the case after listening to his entire discography

NHK is also a collaboration with Toshi Munehiro. And he has another new collaboration project called BBC. Hard to keep track of it all lol..

Yes, Dance Classics Vol 1 sounds like its going to be fantastic.

Wonder what this will sound like though. He's certainly one of my favourite producers at the moment.
