Vic played Roygbiv last night as part of a celebration of Scottish-tronica.

He said rumours were BOC have a 2-disc they're working on.

Disc 1 is the next album.

Disc 2 is an infinite number of Magic Window remixes.

This 2-disc rumor has been floating around some time already. Dunno where it's from, maybe some Joyrex BS.

There was some material 'rejected' by Warp since the last album, which may still make an appearance, which is where the 2 disc rumours have come about.

If true that would make the statement Plaid's forthcoming album being held back by Warp untrue. I've read that somewhere on here.

As for Fredd-E asking about wether Warp have any control over what they put out, according to this quote it would seem when Mr James finally releases a new album Mr Beckett will have no idea until what it will sound like until the last penultimate stage

I suspect Warp would be happy to have ANYTHING BoC wants to put out, regardless of quality(although BoC have way too much professional pride to let anything subpar out). Whereas, if, say, Nice Nice were to somehow miraculously manage to record something worse than the stuff they have already put out, I could see Warp giving them some stern suggestions about how to improve it.

Can you imagine how terrible it's going to be if and when Pitchfork reviews a new BoC album? I don't like to think about it.

Actually, I guess that's already happened plenty. I just don't like seeing new waves of asshole fans.
