Guest Adam
Lots of bulshit but also lots of really really usefull things. Guest placidburp
Looks good! One thing that is a very good idea is the auto save and backup thing, the amount of tracks that I lost throughout the years... Guest oscii
FL Studio becomes E-Jay :) I don't understand, why developers make this cosmetic updates instead of working, for example, on an audio engine or on other advanced DAW functions? Guest
Meh. I'll probably update to 10 just for the hell of it, but they sure don't make a convincing argument for you to do so. What's an audio engine? Why do you need advanced DAW fnctions? just curious. Those new functions in playlist and piano roll are really useful for me. Don't understand how they make FL studio similar to E-jay. Quote Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/64947-fl-studio-10/#findComment-1551309 Share on other sites
Guest oscii
Ok, do you realy need project picker? IMO it's made for kids. Another useless shit they made is patcher (named in max/msp manner). At first glance it's cool, glamour modular synthesis bla bla bla. But they already got a good synthmaker, a more advanced tool. Why do not they spend these manhours for good slice tool (not knife), like in the good DAWs. Or simply for the plugins organizer, that can easily sort my huge vst collection? These things is easy to make, and its realy sad, that in 10 version of software they still absent. So now It's bad that you can check all samples and midi events that are used in project and drag them to a new project without opening it? IMO you're kid. Soloman Tump
flstudio - haterz gonna hate Yeah im liking the new changes, I only upgraded at the weekend. The playlist is definitely a lot easier to use with the resizing, the lasso thing works well too. Gutted my laptops graphics card cant handle the new video generator though - im still planning on buying a desktop by the end of the year just for music though so that will sort it out. Why are people complaining about the annual upgrades. They are FREE! No other major daw offers that. And they now run the "pay what you think its worth" scheme for most of their new vsts.
