Really guys, check out the track "Finest Designs" - great sound, evocative of the 80's sound, but modern at the same time.

I found it kinda irritating actually. Way too poppy and in your face for my liking.

The track I mentioned, or the whole album? I find it's got a MGMT vibe to the singing and sounds, so perhaps that's where the poppy sound you're hearing comes from...
