why are these all newer than 2000 really boring looking made for TV Fear.net style horror movies?

its ultra depressing to see so much 'indie' Saw derivative stuff being done, who the hell actually wants to make a movie following in it's footsteps? it seems like the effort of making it just cancels itself out, so why even bother

If you're going to blame a movie for this shit it's hostel. The first saw movie was amazing.
