Re-issue of sold out debut album from Daniel Mackenzie aka Ekca Liena. Originally released on CDr in 2008, the album has been re-edited, remastered and expanded, featuring a whole extra disc of remixes. The album was originally released in a limited edition of 100 in special tin packaging and promptly sold out thanks to high praise from Norman Records. Since then, Daniel has released work through labels Under the Spire and Phantom Channel, released the follow up to "SM4REM" entitled "Sleep Paralysis" on Dead Pilot (now available at a reduced price) and is also due to release a split with A Death Cinematic on the Small Doses label. Daniel has also self released 2 EPs in hand made packaging and 1 digital B-sides collection.

For this CD re-issue, Slow Music For Rapid Eye Movement was stripped down to the individual stems of each track and completely remixed and remastered by Kevin "Pupilar" Ingham over a period of 3 months. He also mastered each of the remixes himself.
