it was created by a couple trolls who were banned. they just cut and paste a bunch of code from watmm, including stuff i personally wrote, and apparently installed a pirated version of ipb on a cheap shared hosting account.

it's mostly trolls and dupe accounts. they keep creating accounts here to pm spam, etc. it's pretty lame :\

but, if you're looking for a place to post porn, supposedly you can, so, there's that.

What wake did was pretty stupid, but it wasnt spiteful or anything. He just wanted his music to get more press.

Idk, I think the other site has/had potential. I like the porn/Merzbow subforum. It's getting too overrun with stupid though.

Edit: Actually, the porn has been awful. The stuff here was quality.

I thought Wake was a chubby ugly girl but even then with that bias Wake seemed to be too desperate to be smart & funny than even the ugliest of female.

Yea, this. Several people have been posting the link and not knowing they weren't supposed to post it, and then getting it deleted, and then being all like, WTF. Communication is a very important aspect in a relationship.

But the dupe accounts and mass-spamming justify the ban imo. Although I miss Wake.

yeah it was confusing when i got the pm message in my email, then read it here and it was gone! xltronic was worth a quick laugh, nothing else.

If they weren't set on spamming us at every chance they get, I wouldn't even bother, but we have chat logs of them planning to spam WATMM from day one, and they're still actively engaged in it.

I really don't care if someone wants to start a new forum, but build your legitimacy by some other means than dupe accounts and spamming.

Censorship is far more annoying than being told not to do/post something respectfully.
