That's fucked up. I guess it has to do with the fact that if you are in a state that prohibits online gambling nothing is really put up to stop you from registering and playing online anyways. Kind of fucking crazy though seeing how huge of a community online poker is and that many people make a living playing it online. So the fbi took over their dns?

all US players funds are blocked. This has happened before on other sites in the past and that means they will never see the money again probably. this is fucked

euro players can still play and cashout. phew CASHOUT ASAP IF YOU HAVE MONEY THERE

But poker is dead now obv

sigh

How about European sites? I know here in Holland government is planning to legalize online pokerrooms. Could this going to end up like another pirate bay construction?

but the government also loves gambling! as long as they can tax the shit out of you ofc.

and poker isn't even gambling if you know what your doing.

online bingo crap can rig and steal all they want. they have huge profits because of the low EV for the players and can pay huge taxes so they leave them alone.

I generally don't feel bad for people making easy money off illegal activities.

I don't think gambling should be illegal, but it is.

When i click on chaos' links, i'm redirected to the french domain names. Here gambling has been legalized since a few months (another great achievement by Sarkozy).

Like cigs, you have some kind of disclaimer at the top of the page : "Gambling implies risks : indebtedness, isolation, addiction. Please call blablalba"

I feel bad that the government gives a shit about gambling. Gambling is fun.

Heheh, same. The mental image of Pikachu being dragged off in handcuffs is great.

it'll take a while for the cached values to expire at some ISPs. also, some ISPs could override things locally..

Shame about that ... morally i detest gambling for what it does to the half-wits of the world. But people should be able to go there and do it, and the government shouldn't keep the contents of user accounts when they shut sites down.

A member of the non sequitairiate.

How does America own or have the right to shut down a .com?

Please, Im genuinely asking HOW?

Wait, I think I found my answer
