The drums need a hell of a boost in the two track you posted. You can barely hear them.

I would also work on the the build up if I was you. Right now you can't really tell when they peak.

Keep it up!

Barely? Are you exaggerating? cause i can hear them alright.

anyway, the drums are basically a noise background. they consist of bit-reduced drum samples and distorted kitchen noises.

since there's a shitload of melodies in the room, i wanted to keep the drums in the background.

i thought of a hihat line from reunion 2 when i didn't bother to build up the drums.

thanks for listening and your opinion!

i agree that the drums need to be up a bit, or mixed differently. basically they just need to be part of the mix more. i tend to put a filter on the master track so everything is nice and bundled. also, the song basically just stays on the 1, I never feel another chord underneath. it's a nice track though, playful.

the first track is really nice. at 2:20 that bit crunched vocal sample sounds really cool and watery.

I agree that a second chord would sound good in the first track for a bit of a moody variation, maybe around that 1:12 breakdown spot. The synth work sounds great, nice classic braindance glitchy mono, reminds me of Clark a bit.

I also agree that the drum levels in the second track could use a bit of a boost.

Overall great stuff, keep it up!
