Sculptris

I have been playing around in Sculptris. here is a character I'm creating:

Sculptris is a 3D sculpting tool which was developed by a Swedish guy over 6 months. It's now been acquired by Pixologic who make Zbrush and will be developed further.

It's amazingly intuitive and fun to use. It's recommended that you use a graphics tablet. It's free to download while it's still being developed.

Looks very similar to the sculpt tool in blender.

Gave this a quick shot a good 6 months ago, seemed pretty slick, specially with the wacom.

I'm sure it'll come in handy

yeah a 3-D landscape can be handy for duplicating models and architectural features for backgrounds and such.

Is that supposed to be an anatomically correct/realistic Despicable Me?

Everyone I show says that. I didn't realise until people started mentioning it. The resemblance is very close though.

I plan to make him a birdman, which is why he has no ears. Once the feathers go on it will hopefully look less like him.

Please, please - add the feathers

And make him fly around in a sketchpad landscape.
