Dissolvedpaul
Really pretty track, excellent production on the beats and the cutting bass at the start flows quite well although I missed it when it disappeared in after the first minute or so. You use space quite well too although sometimes I felt the super clean production was almost too sugary, I can't fault how amazing it sounds, I think me wanting some hints of grainy texture in parts is just personal taste, like wanting to rub some dirt onto the cutest Electronica cadet track ever. The plucked string melody gives it a late 90's electronic pop sensibility, you've got a great grasp on melody and the changes in the track towards the end are pretty diverse. If I was to say anything I felt it was a bit too long for the kind of track. That bass at the start kicks ass and I reckon I was hoping for some more of that faster pace and kicking beats like the first half, it's so nice but by the second half when it drops pace I wanted it to run and explode a bit. Top marks on production! Guest tht tne
i like the organ... also, having listened to rdj album so much, this reminds me of it but seems missing a dimension that would kick it into true aphex similarity Quote Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/65539-sunny-morning-in-the-garden/#findComment-1569775 Share on other sites
Guest Funktion
dem beats. i'm not sure if it was the track or the peanut sandwich i was eating when i was listening, but something made my brain do a happy, it was probably a team effort. Braintree
Do you mean a peanut butter sandwich or do you just put a bunch of peanuts in between two slices of bread? Either way, thanks :sup: Thanks Haha Confused Sad Facepalm Burger Farnsworth Big Brain Like × Quote Hide Braintree's signature Hide all signatures colindyer.bandcamp.com williamsbraintree.bandcamp.com Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/65539-sunny-morning-in-the-garden/#findComment-1584885 Share on other sites
