I was discussing/laughing at these with a friend of mine a few days ago, and yeah, NCIS is probably the worst show on tv.

the whole show is as bad as CSI's "Fur and Loathing"

the guy who plays mcgee on ncis is an idm fan. there's a sticker on his character's work space.

I read a post by a writer who works on one of these shows, he said it's all intentional, and the writers on each show try to out-bullshit the other shows.

i think i saw one episode of NCIS

in the sense that it's the kind of show you'd expect to see on in the dining area of a nursing home

things CSI and Co. have taught us about the real world:

- you can infinitely zoom in on any footage with any resolution till you see the atoms

- it takes 1 second to create a 3D-model of any object in the world

- there are holograms

- numbers and code on screens always make little glittering stardust noises
