Video Sampling?

I'm looking of a piece of PC/Windows software that'd let me sample video like I would audio. That is, send it C1 and it plays clip 1, send it C2 and it plays clip 2, etc. Need MIDI in for it to be of any use. It'd be nice if it could handle the sampling part on its own, but I'm willing to slice up clips in VirtualDub or whatever if necessary. FX + the ability to mix the videos if I play multiple clips at once would be great too, but also just a bonus.

Is there anything that does this?

Vjamm is probably the best program for this, but good luck finding a crack for it.

It's the program Coldcut farmed out to a company to make utilizing their video cutup techniques

edit: what does MBM use? i don't know, but they seemed to be using all macs last time i saw them. Im not sure which programs for mac are equivalent to this, maybe Resolme can do something similar.

some german art fags ( http://www.maxneupert.de/videosampler/index.php?lang=en [site is in german]) have devolped such thing for netpd ( sort of framework for puredata)
