The Joy Ride to the Sun

i absolutely love the way this starts out but i think the bass is a bit simplistic and i don't like the beat, it's just too straightforward for me

I know its simplistic... I lack the time and skill to make more complicated things. Its something I really dislike and notice in all my tunes. Their simplistic nature. I suppose some people like it more than others, but I'd much rather have a lot more going on. Perhaps I'll be able to do that soon enough.

This was made in an hour so that gives you an idea of how much work went into it. I had work the same day and had the urge to make something (Plus setup renoise again on my newly formatted PC). I could have saved it and worked on it later but I don't feel comfortable doing that.

i feel you bro... a track for me is either done or it's garbage... i don't go back and fine-tune anything... i actually revise my opinion about the bass, i like it

i really like your style man. keep doing what you do exactly how you get the "urge" to do it.

Wow, thanks! Never had a comment like that. Its good to hear I have a style, never knew I actually had one :)

NP with that. Its the only thing I know how to do, jot things down as they come lol.

yeah, too basic, in a bad way, sound & melody. i really liked the mood of the track before it entered. might just be a matter of taste, dunno where you wanted to go.
