not to be a dick but i don't see any 16-bit games there! seems like it goes till like 1985

 

edit: nm, i'm a flickr amateur, it's like a timeline from oldest to newest that i had to click to scroll over to see, pretty cool

I really miss arcades. Where I live they took all of them out. The only place where you can play them are Peter Pipers Pizza or a mini golf place. And what sucks about most of them is the number of Redemption games vs actual arcade games.

I don't think you ever got/get many arcades in dear old blighty. The only place you ever seem to find them is at the seaside or near a beach. Maybe the 70's was different though?

Yeah arcades were always the biz. There were some good ones in Edmonton - memories of playing Gauntlet (for hours), 720, Super Sprint...damn.
