D16 Silverline effect plug-ins

Guest arbee

D16 is making a group buy with their silverline effect plug-ins.

http://www.d16.pl/index.php?menu=250

I already have their reverb "toraverb" which is pretty awesome for out-of-this-world big reverb sounds. their bit-crush / distortion plugs are supposed to be pretty damn good. I will most likely participate to this group buy and I though this might interest someone at watmm.

How does it work?

Purchase any plug-in from the SilverLine Collection to join the Group Buy promotion. The Group Buy counter will increase each time any customer purchases a SilverLine plug-in. When the number of participants reaches the next level, you will be able to get the SilverLine effect of your choice for free!

Number of Group Buy participants Number of free SilverLine plug-ins

> 100 1

> 250 2

> 500 3

> 750 4

> 1000 5

Spread the word among your friends and colleagues about this Group Buy and make it a better deal for everyone! And, remember that this very special Group Buy ends 15-06-2011!

How to receive your free plug-ins

After your initial purchase of a SilverLine plug-in, log-in to our User Area. Then, go to the Group Buys tab and hit the Create Group Buy Bundle button next to the SilverLine title.

Any time the Group Buy counter reaches the next level qualifying you to get free plug-in, you will see the proper information on your account in the Group Buys tab. Then, choose your free plug-in from the combo box list and click the Add free plug-in button. The plug-in you've selected will be shown as the next item in your SilverLine Group Buy bundle automatically.

Important Notes

The Group Buy promotion is limited to the purchase of single SilverLine plug-ins only (which means you can't join the Group Buy after buying the SilverLine Collection bundle, for instance).

The Group Buy promotion is limited to new purchases made between 05-05-2011 and 15-06-2011.

The time for choosing your free plug-ins is limited, and it must be done within 30 days after the Group Buy has ended.

One person can participate in the Group Buy only once.

The plug-in you purchase for joining the Group Buy and the plug-ins you choose for free are bundled. Therefore, you can not sell them or transfer licenses separately.

D16 Group Audio Software reserves the right at its sole discretion to terminate or modify this promotion at any time.

cpuhogs if I remember their plugins well? Maybe optimized now...

my toraverb has a few settings and quality possibilities. at low settings, it still sounds awesome and doesn't use that much CPU... but at high settings it becomes kindof ridiculous...

dunno about the other plugs. the key is to demo before buying to see if it goes well with your computer, don't you think ?

Demo'd (and bought) the Toraverb with my Macbook running Ableton Live in some pretty hectic arrangements, and the CPU usage seemed stable, even on the highest quality for three instances of Toraverb.

I only used Devastor (which again, I gotta say is the warmest software distortion I've heard along with Reason's Scream 4) I've only dabbled in the Silverline bundle so far but I was just as impressed with the bit crusher's different sounds and the Thoraverb
