should I quit watmm?

I have nothing here. I try to contribute but it's mostly lolz because there are funny people here. but mostly everyone is too cynical even for me when it comes tonserious conversations. musically, I think I'm too old to understand the com truise love or even the burial/dubstep stuff. that stuff is either jokingly simple or clinging to a time I know no one wants to remember especially if they were alive then.

I don't ever understand all the crazy threads when people get banned because I'm not sure how you guys know someone so well from an online persona. I do well in real life but I struggle here and it's become a source of stress. I have enough stress in real life to worry about a site that was an escape for me at one time. I don't get why people rally against jr for doing what he does because this is his site. but if you side with him, you're a kiss ass.

i think I've gotten lost in my old age and that feels more idm than windows 95, space stations, 3d glass paintings and even fucking moss.

I'm not looking for anyone to say please stay, in fact I'm expecting this thread to go by the wayside like every other thread i kill just by posting in. why the fuck am i even posting this to a bunch of strangers? this is part of my issue I guess. damn it.

I have been feeling the same way recently, so there's that.

i think you should do what you want, but if something is stressing you out, why would you keep doing it (unless it's work cause everyone needs work to stay alive, be it farm labour to produce your own organically produced ethical vegetables or working on wall street macking daddies to pimp smack the beefsteak. you dig?)

I'm not going to beg you to stay, but you are a great member here at watmm. I too feel that I don't connect with most of the newer musics but there is a fair amount that I do like.

I'm sure there's a fair amount of members here that get discouraged when they feel they're not being noticed or what they say/type goes over everyone's head. I'm one of them. But I have met some cool online buds here throughout the years and I feel connected to them. Hence I never leave.

I think i'm gonna quit too. I just cant take the pressure. I just turned 20, havent got many years left and i have to think i can do better than to spend 4 hours a day in my underwear facepalming with my hand in my dick trying to think of something to say that's not not safe for work

Well I've always liked you, Jules. You strike me as a very genuine, no-bullshit kind of guy and that’s always refreshing. There needs to me more of your type around in my opinion. But having that sort of personality does often make it more difficult to fit in on the internets, because you’re bound to take things a little more personally. So take a break for a while if forum politics are stressing you out, but don’t feel as though you’re not welcome here. Your presence would be sorely missed!

Also, there's a pretty wide variety of music that's appreciated around here. Pick any one artist you like, start a thread about it in the music forum, and I guarantee you'll get at least a dozen responses from people who share the love. Com Truise and dubstep will pass soon enough. Just hang in there.

I feel the exact same way. For the most part, so many people here blur together into one collective smartass... except for you. You've always seemed to be a nice guy. I'd miss you if you left.

This is kinda why I started a thread about whether people were the same on WATMM as they are in real life. There's a lot of cynicism here, but it seems people are quite eager to be cynical. And I think it's contagious. If I could summarise general WATMM behaviour, it would be: ["Pfffftt", <Refresh>].

i think watmm is mostly a big buncha jerks with bad taste and silly opinions but there are some nice people here and there which makes it worth staying
