cricketbones
I played live in Toronto back in February. This is a soundboard recording of the set and one of the guys who put the show on recorded it. A bit messy, but I was playing with no monitors. Lots of self-indulgent tangents and weird levels. Also had a few (a lot) of drinks before I played. I used Synapse Orion with many vsts and the Korg nanokey + nanokontrol. Loads of 'mistakes' and it sounds odd, but remember this is a soundboard deal. No room sound. No monitors. Thanks for listening if you choose to do so. david
what's your opinion on the nanokey? does it get the job done? I hear they are pretty flimsy Thanks Haha Confused Sad Facepalm Burger Farnsworth Big Brain Like × Quote Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/65997-live-soundboard-recording/#findComment-1583078 Share on other sites

Dissolvedpaul
Sounds like it would have been a fun show, mistakes are often happy mistakes, remember that most of the time, it's only the artist that realises he/she's made a mistake, especially if it's a virgin audience so they'll be none the wiser. I like the feel of the set, good variation and would have been good to sit through live and loud. machinemask
really awesome set. i agree about live mistakes, usually don't sound bad, the audience generally has no clue either way, except for that person in the crowd who heard every version of your tracks while they were being produced, the guy you used as a test subject and knows the quote-unquote flaws in your performance and makes good comments about them afterwards...i'm rambling. liked the set!
