well looking forward to this and all his other new stuff. the 1st intrigue and stuff ep is lovely stuff and ive also been really enjoying his Stranger Album bleaklow, tis dark as fuck! James Kirby is a legend. Think am going to be listening to loads of his stuff this year!

this is very good

i like the more repetitive, garbled glitched up tracks more than those with longer melodic loops, reminds me of colleen's first album.

The first track made me inexplicably chuckle like a loon though I have no idea why ....

.... and that's all I've heard of the album so far.

i must say i find the blurbs about memory and alzheimers disease and stuff pretty cheesy. i like me some crackly old melancholy loops as much as the next guy but fuck me if i can stomach all this shit about "prefrontal cortex" or whatever. it kind of obscures the mystique a little for me by introducing what sounds like vaguely academic theoretical remarks about the nature of the music or something. i dunno, probably just me...much love to the caretaker though.
