This album is pretty amazing... Thurston & Beck together remind me of Lou Reed & Bowie. Beck may not have written a decent album in 10+ years, but he can sure decorate the fuck out of an acoustic album.

Yeah I guess you're right, I forgot that Sea Change was within the last 10 years and I guess Modern Guilt was decent.

But overall I feel like he lost a lot of his creative spark last decade so it's really nice seeing him really transform this solo record into something special.

yeah, this is the stuff dreams cum over.

I'm liking this a lot, what an amazing career Moore has going.

finally listening to this in full. sounding great so far. deciding whether to go see him play on monday night or not bother. some music is home listening, some is live and i've been disappointed by shows recently.

sonic youth were great live though when i saw them on the last tour

i haven't herad/bought this yet but hte very idea of beck producing thursdon more gievs me a semi on

at pitchfork this year, his performance was snoozefest, if that helps
