The bass is a little bit weak, might wanna bring in some of those lower frequencies and around the mid-range too, just to give it more tone. Also make sure that 909 snare is compressed and stands out nicely with some EQing around the mid to highs (say 1khz to 3khz), the volume of it is a bit all over the place. The overall track has good structure, but some of those sounds are a bit GM for my tastes.

Ok cool. Now lets put up something more recent. I tend to experiment with allot of different sounds and remixing is a current and constant project. Mix it out live. Since i don't setup the song in a multi-tracker. Its just me mixing tracks i wrote live. No song is ever exactly the same.

Ive been trying to nail songs down to a format a little more.

I actually have the hardest time with mastering. I have crappy speakers and headphones right now so i cant even hear it half the time. Anyway I am compelled to write music anyway.

Maybe a little too repetitive too, which is my favourite and most repeated comment.

a common issue in electronic music. But time signatures are also an artistic choice. I was flashing back to some late 90s electric are you fimilar with Biot or maybe Darshan?

All my music recordings are done live. I guess it would be easier to write the song and sequence it all out. But id like to be able to perform anything i make live if possible. Sometimes they turn out different depending on what kind of mood i'm in. Well you know how it is. It may sound good to you one day. Then you listen to it again and it sounds like crap. lol... That cant be just me. I try not stick to any pre-conceived ideas about how beats should be constructed and tend to experiment with the same beat and reconstruct it many times. I need to update my equipment for sure.
