Yeah. The Intrigue & Stuff series really lives up to it's name. And hands up who was expecting a Pet Shop Boys cover?

God, how bloody gorgeous is Mr. Kirby's version of that track though ?

I haven't eaten a Wagon Wheel since 07/11/07... ilovecubus.co.uk - 25ml of mp3 taken twice daily.

the subscription has been the best money invested in music for me this year by far. keep em coming Mr. Kirby! I hope you do the same in subsequent years.

Oh don't get me wrong, I've got nothing against Pet Shop Boys, quite the reverse in fact. But yes, it is superb. Roll on more surprises!

Assume the physical release is out oct but digital for subscription out tommorow? Unless its a differnt album he is on about. Still the caretaker sound track album to come. Either way looking forward to it!!

The press release actually says that the vinyl edition will be available in September, followed by digital and CD on 3rd October. So it could mean that the LP will appear tomorrow. :)

mayhap and think the digital subscription people will get it tommorow either way.

Yeah, that seems likely doesn't it. Is that what happened with the last Caretaker album? I forget now...

The sooner the better. Either way, can't wait to hear. This is very enticing:

"while the Eager‘s press release makes comparisons to Harold Budd and Hans-Joachim Roedelius."

And the vinyl edition appears on Boomkat. Initial copies on white vinyl apparently.
